ABSTRACT

The COVID‐19 pandemic has been extra challenging for patients with chronic diseases. Psoriasis is one of the chronic conditions that its treatment mostly relies on immunosuppressants. In this study, we report two cases with a long history of psoriasis that COVID‐19 infection caused them to undergo erythrodermic psoriasis. In psoriatic patients, the administration of glucocorticoids during the course of COVID‐19 infection might affect patient's psoriasis presentation, as in some cases early after administrating steroids, psoriatic lesions seem to be mitigated, and after finishing the course of treatment, some patients have reported to experience certain degrees of psoriasis flare‐up.
